About Us

Senior citizen working at Cranford Family Care

Cranford Family Care has been serving the Cranford community since 1936.

Cranford Family Care has proudly supported the Cranford community for nearly a century. Founded in 1936, during the depths of the Great Depression, our organization began as the Cranford Welfare Association—established by local residents, houses of worship, community organizations, and civic clubs who came together to help neighbors in need.

While much has changed over the years, our mission remains the same: to empower Cranford residents on their path toward self-sufficiency.

Today, Cranford Family Care provides essential support through food assistance and financial aid. We are deeply committed to treating every individual with dignity and respect, and we uphold strict confidentiality to protect our clients’ privacy

Supported By Our Community

We rely solely on the generosity of the community from individuals to community groups, to provide donations.

Cranford Family Care is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your donation is fully tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Project Home of Cranford has assisted Cranford Family Care for over 30 years. We utilize Project Home’s fundraising dollars solely for Cranford residents in need of temporary housing and financial assistance. Project Home has several events throughout the year to raise money for Cranford Family Care. These events include the annual town-wide garage sale, Ladies Night Out dinner, Monster Dash and other events. When you support Project Home, you also support Cranford Family Care.
