HOW TO CONTRIBUTE

Volunteers at Cranford Family Care

Volunteering at Cranford Family Care

Volunteers are essential to our community! You can make a meaningful impact by helping at the pantry.

At the pantry, volunteers assist with:

  • Sorting and shelving donations.
  • Removing expired items.
  • Preparing food orders for distribution.
  • Picking up donations or grocery store orders.
  • Assisting with special pantry projects

There are many ways to get involved, and every bit of time helps.

Organize a Food Drive

Hosting a food drive is a fun and impactful way to help our community! You can get creative with themed drives — such as snack drives, school supplies drives, paper goods, cleaning products, or even sunscreen drives! These are just a few ideas to inspire your group. To make your drive a success, consider the following steps:

  • Plan what, how, when, and where you will collect items.
  • Promote your drive widely — make flyers, share on social media, and spread the word to friends, family, and your community.
  • Collect the items from participants.
  • Check collected items for expired food and discard as needed.
  • Confirm your drop-off arrangements with us.
  • Deliver the collected items to the pantry.

Themed drives not only meet specific needs, but they also make giving fun and engaging for everyone involved. Every effort helps us serve our community better!
